Holotype (unique): MNRJ 9705. The species epithet was based on Maria Theresa Lopez, so the correct spelling would have been lopezae according to ICZN Art. 31.1.2-3. •Valid as Chasmocranus lopezi Miranda Ribeiro 1968 -- (Bockmann & Guazzelli in Reis et al. 2003:412 [ref. 27061], Reis et al. 2020:465 [ref. 38364] as lopezae).
