Appeared first in Kottelat 2001:61 [ref. 25482] as a nomen nudum. •Valid as Papuligobius uniporus Chen & Kottelat 2003 -- (Kottelat 2013:417 [ref. 32989], Parenti 2021:341 [ref. 38603]). Current status: Valid as Papuligobius uniporus Chen & Kottelat 2003. Oxudercidae: Gobionellinae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Mekong River basin (Laos). Habitat: freshwater.
