C.] 2004:42, Figs. 14-15, 17 [Smithiana Monographs No. 1; ref. 27767] North side of North Baio Bay near main channel, Cebu Strait, Philippines, depth 18-35 meters. Holotype: ROM 52857. Paratypes: BMNH 1979.1.9.32-35 (4, 1 c&s). •Valid as Manonichthys winterbottomi Gill 2004 -- (Gill & Williams 2011:56 [ref. 31698], Allen & Erdmann 2012:327 [ref. 31980], Allen & Erdmann 2024:349 [ref. 40796]). Current status: Valid as Manonichthys winterbottomi Gill 2004. Pseudochromidae: Pseudochrominae. Distribution: Western Pacific: Cebu (Philippines) endemic. Habitat: marine.
