Current status: Valid as Hypsolebias carlettoi (Costa & Nielsen 2004). Rivulidae: Cynolebiinae. Distribution: South America: Rio das Rãs drainage, São Francisco River basin (Bahia State, Brazil). Habitat: freshwater.
