Paratypes: NRM 40827 (2), 40846 (2). •Valid as Garra vittatula Kullander & Fang 2004 -- (Nebeshwar et al. 2009:202 [ref. 30177], Nebeshwar et al. 2012:2358 [ref. 31816], Shangningam & Vishwanath 2012:5 [ref. 31861], Kottelat 2013:106 [ref. 32989], Arunachalam et al. 2014:65 [ref. 33404], Nebeshwar & Vishwanath 2015:305 [ref. 33758], Kangrang et al. 2016:343 [ref. 34836]). •Synonym of Garra manipurensis Vishwanath & Sarojnalini 1988 -- (Nebeshwar & Vishwanath 2017:44 [ref. 35484]). Current status: Synonym of Garra manipurensis Vishwanath & Sarojnalini 1988. Cyprinidae: Labeoninae. Habitat: freshwater.
