bajiangensis, Yunnanilus Li [W.-X.] 2004:94, Fig. 2 [Journal of Jishou University (Natural Science Edition) v. 25 (no. 3); ref. 28170] Heilongton Reservoir, ca. 24°46'N, 103°16'E, Shilin County, Yunnan Province, China. Holotype: HRS 9504001. Paratypes: HRS 9504002-04 (3), 9804004-09 (6). Spelled two ways, apparently bajiangensis is correct (appearing this way in the Chinese abstract and at the beginning of the article). •Valid as Yunnanilus bajiangensis Li 2004 -- (Romero et al. 2009 [ref. 30522], Zhao et al. 2011:1553 [ref. 31493], Chen et al. 2012:62 [ref. 31907], Kottelat 2012:134 [ref. 32367], Ma & Zhao 2012:111 [ref. 34891], Yang in Lan et al. 2013:251 [ref. 32910], Du et al. 2015:254 [ref. 34050] as bajingensis, Zhang et al. 2016:148 [ref. 34477]). •Valid as Eonemachilus bajiangensis (Li 2004) -- (Du et al. 2021:315 [ref. 38600]). Current status: Valid as Eonemachilus bajiangensis (Li 2004). Nemacheilidae. Distribution: East Asia: Heilongton Reservoir, Yunnan (China). IUCN (2024): Critically Endangered, as Yunnanilus bajiangensis. Habitat: freshwater.
