Current status: Valid as Homaloptera parclitella Tan & Ng 2005. Balitoridae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Malaya (Malaysia), Isthmus of Kra (southern Thailand). IUCN (2019): Least Concern. Habitat: freshwater.
