Holotype: ZRC 48664. Paratypes: CMK 15313 (22), LARREC uncat. (6), NMMB P-2055 (6), ZRC 48665 (6). Appeared first in an unavailable way in ref. 25482 (see separate record). •Valid as Sineleotris namxamensis Chen & Kottelat 2004 -- (Kottelat 2013:388 [ref. 32989]). •Possibly valid as Microdous namxamensis (Chen & Kottelat 2004) -- (Hu et al. 2023:11 [ref. 40052]). Current status: Valid as Sineleotris namxamensis Chen & Kottelat 2004. Odontobutidae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: northeastern Laos. Habitat: freshwater.
