Paratypes: VNCNTTS I: H.01.73.09.02 - H.01.73.08(or 09?).03 (5). •Probably should be regarded as a synonym of Onychostoma gerlachi (Peters 1881) -- (Xin et al. 2009:260 [ref. 30708]). •Synonym of Onychostoma fangi Kottelat 2000 -- (Kottelat 2013:129 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Synonym of Onychostoma fangi Kottelat 2000. Cyprinidae: Acrossocheilinae. Habitat: freshwater.
