Type catalog: Ferraris 2007:102 [ref. 29155]. •Valid as Pseudobagrus gracilis Li, Chen & Chan 2005 -- (Ferraris 2007:102 [ref. 29155], Cheng et al. 2008:118 [ref. 29608], Zhang et al. 2016:185 [ref. 34477]). •In Tachysurus -- (see Bogutskaya et al. 2008:340 [ref. 30085]). •Valid as Trachyurus gracilis (Li, Chen & Chan 2005) -- (Cheng et al. 2021:313 [ref. 38402], Shao et al. 2021:17 [ref. 38776], Shao & Zhang 2022:9 [ref. 39199]). Current status: Valid as Tachysurus gracilis (Li, Chen & Chan 2005). Bagridae. Distribution: East Asia: Zhu-Jiang River basin, Guangxi and Guizhou Provinces, China. Habitat: freshwater.
