Type catalog: Ferraris 2007:384 [ref. 29155]. •Valid as Erethistoides sicula Ng 2005 -- (Ng & Edds 2005:239 [ref. 27993], Thomson & Page 2006:20 [ref. 28859], Ng 2006:281 [ref. 28849], Ferraris 2007:384 [ref. 29155], Ng et al. 2012:56 [ref. 31856], Limbu et al. 2024:5 [ref. 41403]) Current status: Valid as Erethistoides sicula Ng 2005. Sisoridae: Sisorinae. Distribution: Mansai River drainage, Brahmaputra River basin (India and Nepal). Habitat: freshwater.
