Plus non-type material. •Valid as Enneapterygius gruschkai Holleman 2005 -- (Fricke 2009:39 [ref. 30394], Fricke et al. 2009:93 [ref. 30213], Patzner et al. 2009:445 [ref. 30396], Fricke & Erdmann 2017:30 [ref. 35129], Holleman 2022:415 [ref. 39961], Fricke et al. 2024:88 [ref. 41255]). Current status: Valid as Enneapterygius gruschkai Holleman 2005. Tripterygiidae: Tripterygiinae. Distribution: Western Indian Ocean: Seychelles, Comoros, Saint Brandon's Shoals (Cargados Carajos), western Mascarenes (La Réunion, Mauritius) and Chagos Archipelago (British Indian Ocean Territory). Habitat: marine.
