Also spelted as posterodarsalus and posterodorsalus, Kottelat 2012:128 [ref. 32367] selecting posterodorsalus. •Tentatively in Triplophysa -- (Yang et al. 2011:570 [ref. 31447]). •Synonym of Triplophysa longibarbata (Chen, Yang, Sket & Aljancic 1998) -- (Kottelat 2012:128 [ref. 32367]). •Valid as Paracobitis posterodorsalus Li, Ran & Chen 2006 -- (Li et al. 2006:1 [ref. 29056], Romero et al. 2009 [ref. 30522] but might be a synonym of Triplophysa longibarbatus (Chen, Yang, Sket & Aljancic 1998), Zhao et al. 2011:1552 [ref. 31493] with authors as Ran, Li & Chen, Ma & Zhao 2012:111 [ref. 34891] with authors as Ran, Li & Chen, Lan et al. 2013:101 [ref. 32910]). •Valid as Homatula posterodorsalus (Li, Ram & Chen 2006) -- (Zhang et al. 2016:129 [ref. 34477]). •Valid as Triplophysa posterodorsalus (Li, Ran & Chen 2006) -- (Liu et al. 2017:844 [ref. 35125], Wu et al. 2018:93 [ref. 35971] as posterodarsalus, Chen et al. 2021:190 [ref. 38191]).
