Current status: Valid as Trimma flavatrum Hagiwara & Winterbottom 2007. Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Southeastern Indian Ocean, western Pacific: Indonesia east to Marshall Islands, Fiji and Samoa, north to Japan, south to Rowley Shoals (Western Australia) and Queensland (Australia). Habitat: marine.
