Holotype: KIZ 200304423. Paratypes: KIZ 200304422 (1), 200304424 (1). Type catalog: Du et al. 2013:354 [ref. 32939]. •Valid as Erromyzon yangi Neely, Conway & Mayden 2007 -- (Yang et at. 2012:185 [ref. 32329], Yang et al. 2012:185 [ref. 32329], Zhang et al. 2016:158 [ref. 34477], Xiu & Yang 2017:895 [ref. 35089], Gong & Zhang 2024:312 [ref. 40928]). Current status: Valid as Erromyzon yangi Neely, Conway & Mayden 2007. Gastromyzontidae. Distribution: East Asia: Zhujiang River drainage, Guangxi Province, China. Habitat: freshwater.
