Combined with a feminine genus, the adjective should be abbreviata. •Valid as Pareuchiloglanis abbreviatus Li, Zhou, Thomson, Zhang & Yang 2007 -- (Zhou et al. 2011:239 [ref. 31417], Kang et al. 2016:109 [ref. 34226]). •Valid as Pareuchiloglanis abbreviata Li, Thimson & Yang 2007 -- (Kottelat 2013:230 [ref. 32989], Zhang et al. 2016:176 [ref. 34477], Dao et al. 2020:34 [ref. 37114] as abbreviate, Li et al. 2020:842 [ref. 37718]). •Valid as Tremeuchiloglanis abbreviata (Li, Thimson & Yang 2007) -- (Li et al. 2022:15 [ref. 39799]). Current status: Valid as Tremeuchiloglanis abbreviata (Li, Zhou, Thomson, Zhang & Yang 2007). Sisoridae: Glyptosterninae. Distribution: East Asia: upper Black River [Lixian-jiang] drainage, Red River basin, Yunnan (China). IUCN (2024): Not Assessed. Habitat: freshwater.
