Current status: Valid as Knipowitschia montenegrina Kovačić & Šanda 2007. Oxudercidae: Gobionellinae. Distribution: Southeastern Europe: River Moraca that drains into Lake Skadar (southern Montenegro and Albania) [probably also in Lake Skadar]. Habitat: freshwater.
