pacificum, Ditrema temminckii Katafuchi [H.] & Nakabo [T.] 2007:358, Figs. 1D, E, 3, 6B [Ichthyological Research v. 54 (no. 4); ref. 29355] Misaki, Miura Peninsula, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Holotype: FAKU 88202. Paratypes: 41 specimens at FAKU, NSMT and ZUMT, plus an embryo from FAKU 92797 is listed as a paratype on p. 359. Plus non-type specimens. •Synonym of Ditrema temminckii Bleeker 1853, but a valid subspecies pacificum Katafuchi & Nakabo 2007 as described -- (Katafuchi et al. 2011:90 [ref. 31141]). Current status: Synonym of Ditrema temminckii Bleeker 1853. Embiotocidae. Distribution: Pacific coast of Japan [this subspecies]. Habitat: marine.
