Current status: Valid as Alburnus demiri Özuluğ & Freyhof 2008. Leuciscidae: Leuciscinae. Distribution: Asia Minor: Tahtahçay (Aegean Sea tributary), Izmir Province (Turkey). Habitat: freshwater.
