Plus additional material: (179 spec., 8 c&s). Type catalog: Mlíkovský et al. 2011:156 [ref. 33498]. •Valid as Pomatoschistus montenegrensis Miller & Šanda 2008 -- (Engin & Innal 2017:6 [ref. 35516], Shumka et al. 2023:39 [ref. 40747]). •Valid as Ninnigobius montenegrensis (Miller & Šanda 2008) -- (Geiger et al. 2014:Table S2 [ref. 37408], Thacker et al. 2018:[8] [ref. 36082]). Current status: Valid as Ninnigobius montenegrensis (Miller & Šanda 2008). Gobiidae: Gobionellinae. Distribution: Southeastern Europe: Lake Skadar basin (Montenegro and Albania). Habitat: freshwater.
