Holotype: SWFC 0202003. Paratypes: SWFC 9904113-114 (2), 0202001-002 (2), 0202004-033 (34). Plus non-type specimens. Name used as an adjective. •Valid as Pseudecheneis longipectoralis Zhou, Li & Yang 2008 -- (Anganthoibi & Vishwanath 2010:199 [ref. 31042], Kottelat 2013:231 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Valid as Pseudecheneis longipectoralis Zhou, Li & Yang 2008. Sisoridae: Glyptosterninae. Distribution: Branches of the middle Nujiand River drainage, Yunnan Province, China. Habitat: freshwater.
