Holotype: MPEG 9859. Paratypes: MNRJ 28821 (2), MPEG 6201 (7, 1c&s). •Valid as Tatia caxiuanensis Sarmento-Soares & Martins-Pinheiro 2008 -- (Pavanelli & Bifi 2009:200 [ref. 30255], Vari & Calegari 2014:673 [ref. 33612], Calegari et al. 2019:[82] [ref. 36961], Sarmento-Soares & Martins-Pinheiro 2020:128 [ref. 37877]). Current status: Valid as Tatia caxiuanensis Sarmento-Soares & Martins-Pinheiro 2008. Auchenipteridae: Centromochlinae. Distribution: Curuá River, lower Amazon basin, Pará, Brazil. Habitat: freshwater.
