Paratypes: UFRJ 6615 (9), 6616 (4, c&s). •Valid as Hypsolebias longignatus Costa 2008 -- (Costa 2011:221 [ref. 31654], Abrantes et al. 2020:306 [ref. 37698], Abrantes et al. 2023:558 [ref. 40706]). Current status: Valid as Hypsolebias longignatus (Costa 2008). Rivulidae: Cynolebiinae. Distribution: South America: swamp next to Rio Pacoti, an isolated coastal basin, Ceará (Brazil). Habitat: freshwater.
