Type catalog: Ho & Shao 2011:26 [ref. 31432]. •Valid as Candidia pingtungensis Chen, Wu & Hsu 2008 -- (Ho & Shao 2011:26 [ref. 31432], Zhang et al. 2016:48 [ref. 34477], Ito & Hosoya 2016:256 [ref. 35383], Wang et al. 2019:[6] [ref. 36521]). Current status: Valid as Candidia pingtungensis Chen, Wu & Hsu 2008. Xenocyprididae. Distribution: Taiwan and China. Habitat: freshwater.
