Paratypes: CMA 12 (2), MSUMNH 45 (3). •Valid as Psilorhynchus tenura Arunachalam & Muralidharan 2008 -- (Shangningam & Vishwanath 2013:381 [ref. 32820], Lalramliana et al. 2014:271 [ref. 33295], Conway & Pinion 2016:590 [ref. 34529], Arunachalam et al. 2018:223 [ref. 35779], Bleher 2018:813 [ref. 36647]). Current status: Valid as Psilorhynchus tenura Arunachalam & Muralidharan 2008. Psilorhynchidae. Distribution: Thunga River drainage, Karnataka, western Peninsular India. Habitat: freshwater.
