Paratypes: INIDEP 794-800, 802-803 (total 7). •Valid as Zearaja argentinensis (Díaz de Astarloa, Mabragaña, Hanner & Figueroa 2008) -- (Weigmann 2016:123 [ref. 34211] see remarks, Last et al. 2016:23 [ref. 34941], Last et al. 2016:360 [ref. 35000]). •Valid as Dipturus argentinensis Díaz de Astarloa, Mabragaña, Hanner & Figueroa 2008 -- (Mabragaña et al. 2011:7 and table S2 [ref. 31800], Vargas-Caro 2015:323 [ref. 33982], Concha et al. 2019:507 [ref. 36686], Kim et al. 2021:46 [ref. 39117], Figueroa et al. 2024:6 [ref. 40977]). Current status: Valid as Dipturus argentinensis Díaz de Astarloa, Mabragaña, Hanner & Figueroa 2008. Rajidae. Distribution: Southwestern Atlantic: Argentina endemic. Habitat: marine.
