Holotype: RIA 1 [? NCNTTSI]. Paratypes: (7). Original description not yet translated. •Questionably a synonym of Cobitis laoensis (Sauvage 1878) -- (Kottelat 2012:26 [ref. 32367], Kottelat 2013:178 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Uncertain as Cobitis laoensis (Sauvage 1878). Cobitidae. Distribution: Vietnam. Habitat: freshwater.
