parapolyporus, Bathycongrus Karmovskaya [E. S.] 2009:148, Fig. 4 [Journal of Ichthyology v. 49 (no. 2); ref. 30139] Lakeba Island, Fiji, 18°16'S, 174°41'W, depth 478-500 meters. Holotype: MNHN 2000-0931. Paratypes: MNHN 2002-3734 (1); ZMMU 22127 (1). •Valid as BAthycongrus parapolyporus Karmovskaya 2009 -- (Karmovskaya 2011:417 [ref. 31456], Huang et al. 2018:113 [ref. 36041]). Current status: Valid as Bathycongrus parapolyporus Karmovskaya 2009. Congridae: Congrinae. Distribution: Fiji and the South China Sea; apparently also in the Philippines. Habitat: marine.
