Holotype (unique): MNHN 2000-1058. •Valid as Bathycongrus unimaculatus Karmovskaya 2009 -- (Fricke et al. 2011:353 [ref. 31342], Karmovskaya 2011:417 [ref. 31456]). Current status: Valid as Bathycongrus unimaculatus Karmovskaya 2009. Congridae: Congrinae. Distribution: Southwestern Pacific: New Caledonia. Habitat: marine.
