The original spelling is consistently jinxiensis, but species was from Jingxi county. •Valid as Yunnanilus jinxiensis Zhu, Du & Chen 2009 -- (Zhao et al. 2011:1553 [ref. 31493] as jingxiensis, Kottelat 2012:135 [ref. 32367], Lan et al. 2013:47 [ref. 32910], Zhang et al. 2016:149 [ref. 34477] with authorship as Zhu, Du, Chen & Yang, Du et al. 2018:143 [ref. 36374]). •Valid as Paranemachilus jinxiensis (Zhu, Du & Chen 2009) -- (Du et al. 2021:322 [ref. 38600], Du et al. 2023:7 [ref. 40265], Mo et al. 2024:1381 [ref. 41636]). Current status: Valid as Paranemachilus jinxiensis (Zhu, Du & Chen 2009). Nemacheilidae. Distribution: East Asia: Pearl River drainage (Guangxi, China). Habitat: freshwater.
