Paratypes: MNHN 2008-1921 (1), 2008-1922 (3), 2008-1923 (1), 2008-24 (1). •Valid as Stiphodon mele Keith, Marquet & Pouilly 2009 -- (Keith & Hadiaty 2015:268 [ref. 33653], Keith et al. 2015:208 [ref. 34328]). Current status: Valid as Stiphodon mele Keith, Marquet & Pouilly 2009. Gobiidae: Sicydiinae. Distribution: Southwestern Pacific: New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Fiji [amphidromous]. Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.
