Appeared online 5 Nov. 2009 (technically unavailable), in print edition on Feb. 2010; dates to 2010. •Valid as Pseudogyrinocheilus longisulcus Zheng, Chen & Yang 2010 -- (Zhang et al. 2016:114 [ref. 34477]). •Valid as Prolixicheilus longisulcus (Zheng, Chen & Yang 2010) -- (Zheng et al. 2016:140 [ref. 34678]). Current status: Valid as Prolixicheilus longisulcus (Zheng, Chen & Yang 2010). Cyprinidae: Labeoninae. Distribution: Zuojiang River basin, tributary of the Pearl River, Guangxi, China. Habitat: freshwater.
