Holotype: FFR 3036. Paratypes: many at CMK and FFR. •Synonym of Salmo labrax Pallas 1814 -- (Ninua et al. 2018:[12] [ref. 35786]). •Valid as Salmo coruhensis Turan, Kottelat & Engin 2010 -- (Turan et al. 2011:32 [ref. 31466], Turan et al. 2012:234 [ref. 32276], Turan et al. 2014:285 [ref. 33242], Turan et al. 2014:148 [ref. 33615], Çiçek et al. 2015:150 [ref. 35151], Turan et al. 2017:62 [ref. 35485], Çiçek et al. 2018:21 [ref. 36267]). Current status: Valid as Salmo coruhensis Turan, Kottelat & Engin 2010. Salmonidae: Salmoninae. Distribution: Turkey: Çoruh Nehri basin (Black Sea tributary), Erzurum Province. Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.
