Spelled clorophthalma on page 262. •Valid as Moenkhausia chlorophthalma Sousa, Netto-Ferreira & Birindelli 2010 -- (Pastana & Dagosta 2014:395 [ref. 33384], Dagosta et al. 2015:424 [ref. 33998] as clorophthalma, Ohara & Marinho 2016:[6] 42 [ref. 34383] as clorophthalma, Soares et al. 2019:237 [ref. 36688], Marinho et al. 2021:12 [ref. 38394] as clorophthalma). Current status: Valid as Moenkhausia chlorophthalma Sousa, Netto-Ferreira & Birindelli 2010. Characidae: Stethaprioninae. Distribution: Xingu River basin, Pará, Brazil. Habitat: freshwater.
