Type catalog: Andrade et al. 2017:441 [ref. 35588]. •Valid as Moenkhausia celibela Marinho & Langeani 2010 -- (Oliveira & Marinho 2016:573 [ref. 34342], Marinho & Langeani 2016:348 [ref. 34416], Azevedo-Santos & Benine 2016:208 [ref. 34837], Soares et al. 2017:261 [ref. 35237]). Current status: Valid as Moenkhausia celibela Marinho & Langeani 2010. Acestrorhamphidae: Stichonodontinae. Distribution: Amazon River basin, Brazil. Habitat: freshwater.
