M.] 2010:129, Figs. 8-13, 19 [Vertebrate Zoology v. 60 (no. 2); ref. 30947] A small nameless right-bank tributary feeding the Rio Tapajós, upstream from settlement of São Luiz (about 4°34'S, 56°15'W), Pará, Brazil. Holotype: MZUSP 106591. Paratypes: CAS 220435 (1), 220436 (1); MTD F32149 (1), F32150 (1, c&s), F32151 (1), F32152 (1), F32154 (1, c&s); MZUSP 106592 (1). Plus non-preserved specimens. •Valid as Dicrossus warzeli Römer, Hahn & Vergara 2010 -- (Kullander 2011:76 [ref. 31290], Staeck 2017:249 [ref. 35639]). Current status: Valid as Dicrossus warzeli Römer, Hahn & Vergara 2010. Cichlidae: Cichlinae. Distribution: Rio Tapajós drainage, Amazon basin, Pará, Brazil. Habitat: freshwater.
