Paratypes: SA 37619 (1). •Valid as Cruriraja hulleyi Aschliman, Ebert & Compagno 2010 -- (Weigmann 2016:127 [ref. 34211], Last et al. 2016:29 [ref. 34941], Weigmann et al. 2016:479 [ref. 35006], Vinu et al. 2017:598 [ref. 36470], Almeida & Biscoito 2019:164 [ref. 37302], Ebert et al. 2021:88 [ref. 38234], Aschliman & Ebert 2022:595 [ref. 39668], Leeney 2024:84 [ref. 40985]). Current status: Valid as Cruriraja hulleyi Aschliman, Ebert & Compagno 2010. Gurgesiellidae. Distribution: Southeastern Atlantic, southwestern Indian Ocean: Lüderitz (Namibia) south to Cape of Good Hope (South Africa), then east to east London (Eastern Cape, South Africa). Habitat: marine.
