Holotype: MUSM 39906. Paratypes: MSNG 56048A (1), 56048B (1), 56048C (1); MTD 32437 (1); USNM 399459 (1). •Valid as Anablepsoides parlettei (Valdesalici & Schindler 2011) -- (based on recognition of Anablepsoides as a valid genus by Costa 2011:242 [ref. 31655], Costa 2013:346 [ref. 32528], Valdesalici & Schindler 2013:296 [ref. 33109], Nielsen et al. 2016:76 [ref. 34406], Nielsen 2016:166 [ref. 34861], Valdesalici & Gil 2019:152 [ref. 37074]). Current status: Valid as Anablepsoides parlettei (Valdesalici & Schindler 2011). Rivulidae: Rivulinae. Distribution: Río Araza drainage, upper Amazon basin, southeastern Peru. Habitat: freshwater.
