Paratypes: LPB 1852 (4)l;, MZUEL 5175 (11); MZUSP 86222 (10), 86239 (3), 86253 (2), 86260 (2). •Valid as Microglanis oliveirai Ruiz & Shibatta 2011 -- (Mattos et al. 2013:153 [ref. 33009], Shibatta 2016:[6] [ref. 34812], Terán et al. 2016:201 [ref. 34904], Ruiz 2016:230 [ref. 34907]). Current status: Valid as Microglanis oliveirai Ruiz & Shibatta 2011. Pseudopimelodidae: Batrochoglaninae. Distribution: Upper-middle rio Araguaia basin, Mato Grosso, Brazil. Habitat: freshwater.
