MCP, MAUSP, UFRGS. •Valid as Trichomycterus perkos Datovo, Carvalho & Ferrer 2012 -- (Bertaco et al. 2016:421 [ref. 34561], Terán et al. 2017:11 [ref. 35391]). •Valid as Cambeva perkos (Datovo, Carvalho & Ferrer 2012) -- (Katz et al. 2018:563 [ref. 36330], Katz & Costa 2020:11 [ref. 37397], Reis et al. 2020:471 [ref. 38364], Ferrer 2021:232 [ref. 38890]). Current status: Valid as Cambeva perkos (Datovo, Carvalho & Ferrer 2012). Trichomycteridae: Trichomycterinae. Distribution: South America: tributaries of the Paranapanema and Uruguai river basins (Rio Grande do Sul, southern Brazil). Habitat: freshwater.
