Holotype: CRG-SAC.2012.3.1. Paratypes: BMNH 1870.5.2.9 (1), 1889.2.1.3193-7 (5). (1);CRG-SAC.2012.3.2-11 (10). •Valid as Dario urops Britz, Ali & Philip 2012 -- (Britz & Kullander 2013:332 [ref. 32979], Britz & Ali 2015:140 [ref. 33643], Britz et al. 2018:146 [ref. 35956]). Current status: Valid as Dario urops Britz, Ali & Philip 2012. Badidae. Distribution: Valapattanam River basin, Western Ghats, southern India. Habitat: freshwater.
