paryagi, Laimosemion Vermeulen [F. B. M.], Suijker [W. H.] & Collier [G. E.] 2012:183, Figs. 1-2 [aqua, International Journal of Ichthyology v. 18 (no. 4); ref. 32253] Upper Mazaruni River, about 7 miles downstream from Kamarang, 5°43'50"N, 60°30'55"W, Upper Mazaruni District, Guyana, elevation about 495 meters. Holotype: ZMA 124896. Paratypes: ZAM 124897 (1) and 6 F1 generation males. •Valid as Laimosemion paryagi Vermeulen, Suijker & Collier 2012 -- (Taphorn et al. 2022:37 [ref. 41297]). Current status: Valid as Laimosemion paryagi Vermeulen, Suijker & Collier 2012. Rivulidae: Rivulinae. Distribution: South America: upper Mazaruni River (Guyana) endemic. Habitat: freshwater.
