Holotype: SMNS 25471. Paratypes: SMNS 27979 [not 25472] (7), MTD F 32782-83 (2). Additional information on type locality is provided by Eberl 2014:15 [ref. 33170]. •Valid as Aphyosemion grelli Valdesalici & Eberl 2013 -- (Valdesalici & Eberl 2014:112 [ref. 33277], Valdesalici & Eberl 2016:66 [ref. 34405], Fermon et al. 2022:256 [ref. 39448]). Current status: Valid as Aphyosemion grelli Valdesalici & Eberl 2013. Nothobranchiidae. Distribution: Western-central Africa: Ikoy River system (Gabon) endemic. Habitat: freshwater.
