Paratypes: CLJH 2012020101, 12110307, 12110308 (1 spec. each). •Valid as Protocobitis anteroventris Lan 2013 -- (Zhang et al. 2016:153 [ref. 34477], Zhou et al. 2024:4 [ref. 40870]). Current status: Valid as Protocobitis anteroventris Lan 2013. Cobitidae. Distribution: East Asia: cave system in Tianlin County, Guangxi, China. Habitat: freshwater.
