Holotype (unique): INPA 16847. •Valid as Arapaima leptosoma Stewart 2013. Current status: Valid as Arapaima leptosoma Stewart 2013. Arapaimidae. Distribution: Solimões River drainage, Brazil. Habitat: freshwater.
