mengilai, Aphyosemion Valdesalici [S.] & Eberl [W.] 2014:112, Figs. 1-3 [aqua, International Journal of Ichthyology v. 20 (no. 2); ref. 33277] Magotsi, 42 km east of Ikobey (Ikobé), small stream named Obélé in the village Evouta, Gabon, 1°03’75"S, 11°11’34"E. Holotype: SMNS 27069. Paratypes: many at MNHN, SMNS. Plus additional non-type material. Also appeared in Eberl 2014:67 [ref. 34180]. •Valid as Aphyosemion mengilai Valdesalici & Eberl 2014 -- (Valdesalici & Eberl 2016:66 [ref. 34405], Fermon et al. 2022:259 [ref. 39448]). Current status: Valid as Aphyosemion mengilai Valdesalici & Eberl 2014. Nothobranchiidae. Distribution: Western-central Africa: Ikoy River basin (Gabon) endemic. Habitat: freshwater.
