Current status: Valid as Marcusenius krameri Maake, Gon & Swartz 2014. Mormyridae. Distribution: Limpopo River and several of its tributaries, ranging from the Matlabas River in the west to the Olifants River in the east, South Africa. Habitat: freshwater.
