Holotype: SMF 34837. Paratypes: BMNH 1976.4.7:187-195 (9), 1976.5.17:8 (1), 1976.4.7:185 (1), 1976.4.7:176-184 (9), 1976.4.7:186 (1); SMF 33113 (11), 33114 (2), 30764 (1), 30771 (1), 33112 (15). •Valid as Arabibarbus hadhrami Borkenhagen 2014 -- (Borkenhagen 2017:293 [ref. 35158], Freyhof et al. 2020:124 [ref. 37658], Esmaeili & Hamidan 2023:207 [ref. 40377], Çiçek et al. 2024:133 [ref. 40789]). Current status: Valid as Arabibarbus hadhrami Borkenhagen 2014. Cyprinidae: Torinae. Distribution: Middle East: Wadi Hadhramaut drainage (Yemen). Habitat: freshwater.
