Current status: Valid as Opsarius arunachalensis (Nath, Dam & Kumar 2010). Danionidae: Chedrinae. Distribution: South Asia: upper Brahmaputra basin, Arunachal Pradesh, India and Bhutan. Habitat: freshwater.
