Neotype: KIZ 2023000005. Original types: Guangxi Fisheries and Animal Husbandry School 2011006-9 (4, lost). The species epithet parva is an adjective. Therefore mandatory correction to parvus when combined with a masculine genus. Neotype designated by Ge et al. 2024:666 [ref. 41168]. •Valid as Heminoemacheilus parvus Zhu & Zhu 2015. •Valid as Karstsinnectes parvus (Zhu & Zhu 2015) -- (Luo et al. 2023:696 [ref. 40042] dated 2014, Zhao et al. 2024:112 [ref. 41034], Ge et al. 2024:669 [ref. 41168], Luo et al. 2024:1483 [ref. 41658]). Current status: Valid as Karstsinnectes parvus (Zhu & Zhu 2015). Nemacheilidae. Distribution: East Asia: karst cave in Nongma Village, upper Zuojiang River drainage, Guangxi, China. Habitat: freshwater.
